Nigerian singer Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, has spoken about his family background, revealing that he and billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, are part of a much larger family.
Speaking during an episode of the Tea With Tay podcast hosted by Temisan Emmanuel and shared online on Sunday, Kcee addressed the common assumption that only he and his younger brother are in the limelight.
“We’re actually seven in total—four girls and three boys,” Kcee said. “E-Money is the lastborn.”
He went on to talk about his other siblings, most of whom stay out of the public space.
“Our eldest brother is a pastor based in Abuja. He stays away from all the noise on social media. He’s focused on his ministry and just living a peaceful life,” he shared. “All our sisters are doing great. They’re married and settled, and one of them lives in Italy with her husband and kids.”
Kcee also explained why the public only hears about him and E-Money.
“People often think it’s just the two of us because we’re very close and always in the spotlight,” he said. “But the truth is we come from a large, close-knit family.”
