Still on the issue of Assaulting police officers, a young lady has been reprimanded to the Kirikiri Correctional Centre till when her case comes up in court again.
Seeing how the police handled the case of Seun Kuti, they are serious about protecting the dignity of their profession as no police officer should be assaulted while diligently carrying out his duties.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, revealed on his Twitter handle that they arrested a lady who assaulted a police officer and she has been Arraigned in Court.
Sharing pictures, he wrote, “Somewhere in Ogombo yesterday, she assaulted a police officer. She was arraigned today and has been remanded to the Kirikiri correctional facility till June 6 when the case comes up again in court.”
