Mr Martins Esin, the Chairman of the Youth Development Committee in the House of Representatives, has lauded Nigerian youths for their strength and resilience despite the numerous challenges in the country.

In a statement issued on Saturday, August 12, to celebrate the 2023 International Youth day, Esin, a House of Reps member representing the Oron/Mbo/Okobo/Udung Uko/Urueoffong Oruko Federal constituency had urged President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to do more for the youths as they made up over 60% of the country’s population.

Esin had also encouraged youths to keep being resolute and imbibe virtues that would make them good citizens and superb leaders.

The House of Reps member had gone further to extol the president for nominating a significant number of youths into his government, highlighting that with the appointment of more youths as the personal aides and ministers, he was confident that Nigeria would thrive and blossom under President Tinubu’s government.

In Esin’s words:
“On this occasion of the International Youth Day 2023, I salute your resilience, tenacity and loyalty. Please, do everything to protect and safeguard the nation. We inherited a great nation from our fore fathers. We must therefore, leave a greater nation to the next generation to come.”
