Nottingham Forest will be facing Leicester City in Saturday’s premier league clash
without their top goal scorer.
If we can recall, Awoniyi sustained an Injury, during their win against Southampton
earlier this month, and this has caused him to miss their last two matches, and would also be missing this one too.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of their match, Steve Cooper Revealed that
Awoniyi won’ feature in the match, and he isn’t sad about the recent turnout of things, but the amount of injured players they have is something to be disturbed about.
Finally, he said that his players are well-rested for their game against Leicester City, so he believes they’ll do well.
“Taiwo didn’t make it for this one (against Leicester City),” Cooper was quoted by
Nottingham Post.
“We’re working away with him for the weekend. We’ve got our fingers crossed on that one.
“I’m not going to ever cry about things that are going against us, but our injury list is really unfortunate at the moment.
Leicester is coming up – a good game, a big game. They have a day of extra rest and preparation, which seems to be the norm for us, but there we go. We’ll get on with it.”
