British singer Lily Allen has told fans that she returned a puppy she adopted, after it chewed her family’s passports. The incident happened in the year 2020 during the corona virus outbreak as she narrated on her podcast Miss Her?.
Allen narrated the incident where the named puppy Mary not only shredded her passport, but also passport of her two children, Ethel, aged 12, and Marnie, aged 11.
The said incident delayed her daughters’ to visit their father in England and this added to Allen’s frustration. Allen is currently based in New York with her husband, Harbour, while her daughters’ father, Sam Cooper, lives in the UK.
Nevertheless, she and her spouse, actor David Harbour, are thinking about it, and they will apparently take in a new puppy. Animal rights charity PETA responded by urging Allen not to get another dog, stating that animals “should never be treated as accessories to be discarded when they become inconvenient.”
