Messi’s two-year deal with Paris Saint Germain is coming to an end and would be a free agent too, his chances of returning to his former club, Barcelona are slim.
There are reports that Messi now has an estranged relationship with his former club, as he felt betrayed by the club for selling him to another club, despite all his sacrifices for the club. Joan Laporta, Barcelona’s president once said that he would love for Messi to end his career in Barca, but he hasn’t contacted Messi about a possible return.
Joining Barca would mean he would have to endure a pay cut as he did before whilst he was still with them, as Barcelona have some financial issues and they had to even sell some players this season to raise money to register some new players in the la Liga.
