L’Oréal Paris, a leading global cosmetic brand, has announced Nigerian actress Temi Otedola as its new African Digital Brand Ambassador. This announcement was made in a statement by Issima Oniangue, General Manager for Makeup in the Sub-Saharan Africa Zone at L’Oréal, and shared with the press in Lagos on Sunday. Temi Otedola landed an ambassadorship shortly after her sister, Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, became the King’s Trust International Ambassador to King Charles III. Her appointment places her alongside renowned figures like Kendall Jenner and Viola Davis, who also represent the brand.

Issima Oniangue announced the partnership, stating that Temi’s style, confidence, and love for beauty align perfectly with L’Oréal Paris’ values of empowerment and sophistication. This collaboration signifies a new era of glamor and innovation in beauty for the region, emphasizing the celebration and representation of African women’s diverse beauty. She additionally highlighted that their collaborations and endeavors are dedicated to advancing equal rights and fostering self-esteem.

Temi Otedola conveyed her excitement and gratitude, vowing to represent the brand with excellence and dedication.

“I still don’t believe I’m typing this but I’m so excited to announce that I am the first ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis  I’m truly honored to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret to keep for the last 6 months!!” she wrote

“I’m so excited to share L’Oréal’s iconic products and equally iconic brand with all of you. To me, the L’Oréal woman is empathetic, unapologetic and of course, infallible. She’s Worth It! I can still remember playing with my mom’s L’Oréal Lipstick and Mascara so this is a REAL dream come true!!!”

“I’m charging up for all the many moments and milestones I’ll be creating with my new L’Oréal Family.”
