Manchester City has been trending in the news as the English Premier League hits the club with 100 breaches of financial rules, and if found guilty of these breaches they could be expelled from the premier league other possible sanctions that could be imposed on them, is that points may be deducted from them and they may be suspended from playing some matches.
However Manchester City has claimed to be innocent of all these charges, posting on their official website they claim to be surprised at the charges, they however said that they are open to reviewing the matter for their name to be cleared of such charges.
“Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.
“The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.
“As such, we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.”
Manchester City is one of the most formidable teams in the EPL, as they’ve won the EPL title two consecutive times and see on their way too cliche the title for the third time.
