Rio Ferdinand, an ex-Manchester United player, has stated that man city will be a tough competition in the premier league as they are the most difficult team any club can face. Ferdinand believes that Man City have a very strong squad, and they play with so much experience.

According to Ferdinand, the signing of Erling Haaland and Kelvin Philips to their squad has cemented their strength, despite losing Raheem Sterling to Chelsea the team’s strength is waxing strong. He believes that Liverpool will also give Man City a tough time

” I think City will be the team to beat again,” Ferdinand told Mirror Football.

“They’ve strengthened again, they have got [Erling] Haaland in and Kalvin Phillips. They have lost [Raheem] Sterling, yes, but they have got a deep squad and players that can play multiple positions.

“And they have got the experience of winning. Liverpool will push them hard again.”

The premier league is just a few days away, Who do you think is taking the premier league title home this season?
