Mane is a National Hero in Senegal- Klopp

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s head coach stated that Sadio Mane is a very talented player and a national hero in Senegal. Mane was one of Klopp’s players before he moved to Bayern Munich this summer.

Klopp in an interview revealed that Mane has a very beautiful heart, as he has built schools and hospitals for locals in Senegal. How he got into football is an incredible story that should be told. Klopp further described him as a national hero in Senegal.

Klopp further said that Mane has many beautiful feats to his name, and if mane desires to run for the presidency in Senegal, he might just end up emerging as the president.

“He has a huge heart for his homeland, building schools and hospitals locally for good reasons,” Klopp told the Bundesliga’s YouTube channel. “It’s an incredible story, how he even got started with football. [He’s] a really great guy.”

“Sadio is the national hero in Senegal,” added Klopp.

“Winning the Africa Cup [AFCON], Player of the Tournament, Africa’s Men’s Player of the Year, scored the decisive penalty [in the AFCON final] and other vital goals. Right now, he could probably become president there if he wanted.”
