Who’s your guy if not Nollywood? I know I should have dropped a list of movies for March earlier, but hey, we’re just in the second week, and it’s never too late. Remember when I said Nollywood took a little break in January? Well, the break is over! Our filmmakers are back, and they’re ready to flood us with movies this month. So, what’s dropping, and where can you watch them? Let’s dive in!

Suky – March 7 (Prime Video)

This action-packed thriller follows Suky, a man trapped in the dangerous world of crime, power, and survival. He wants out, but escaping his past won’t be easy. With deadly enemies on his tail, Suky must make choices that will change his life forever.

Starring Tobi Bakre, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Ademoye, Olarotimi Fakunle, Itele D Icon, and Boma Akpore, Suky is produced by Nemsia Studios and is already streaming on Prime Video.

The Cartel – March 7 (Cinemas)

If you love action, The Cartel is for you! This thriller takes you deep into the world of drug trafficking, power struggles, and betrayal. Rival gangs are at war, secrets are spilling, and no one can be trusted.

With a star-studded cast featuring Bolanle Ninalowo, Broda Shaggi, Clarion Chukwurah, Eniola Badmus, Chika Ike, and Nkechi Blessing, this movie is directed by Elvis Chucks and shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Lance Gewer. It’s already showing in cinemas nationwide.

Shaping Us – March 8 (Streaming Platforms)

After years of trying, Ara and Biodun are finally expecting a baby. But on the night of their celebration dinner, Ara receives the results of a secret paternity test—turning their joy into heartbreak. What happens next will shake their world.

Starring Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Bucci Franklin, and James Gardiner, Shaping Us is directed by Kambili Ofili and is already streaming on Apple TV, Prime Video, YouTube, Tubi, Google Play, and Africa Magic Showmax.

Finding Me – March 16 (Prime Video)

Funke Akindele is back with another one! Finding Me is all about self-discovery and second chances. The movie boasts an all-star lineup including Funke Akindele, Shaffy Bello, Dele Odule, Sharon Ooja, Tina Mba, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Omoni Oboli, Omowunmi Dada, Efe Iwara, Joseph Benjamin, Femi Adebayo Salami, Emeka Nwagbaraocha, and AbdulGafar Abiola.

This one drops on Prime Video from March 16.

I Am Anis – March 21 (Circuit TV)

Inspired by true events, I Am Anis tells the gripping story of Anisola Williams, whose life takes a shocking turn in just one day. As secrets unravel and painful truths come to light, Anis must fight for her freedom and redemption.

With Shaffy Bello, Tina Mba, Charles Inojie, Debo Adedayo (Mr. Macaroni), and Martha Ehinome Orhiere in the cast, this film is written and directed by Biodun Stephen and will premiere on Circuit TV on March 21.

Baby Farm – March 21 (Netflix)

This one is already making waves! Baby Farm follows Adanna, a pregnant woman who unknowingly hands her twin babies over to a so-called NGO, only to find out she’s trapped in a sinister baby trafficking ring.

With an international cast including Rita Dominic, Jenny Stead, Langley Kirkwood, Onyinye Odokoro, Genoveva Umeh, Joseph Benjamin, Ruby Akubueze, Folu Storms, Kiki Omeili, Tope Tedela, Osereme Inegbenebor, Adeola Awodein, Iveren Antiev, Maggie Osuome, Uzoamaka Onuoha, and Celia Okechukwu, this series will be streaming worldwide on Netflix from March 21.

Labake Olododo – March 28 (Cinemas)

Set in a rich Yoruba cultural setting, Labake Olododo tells the story of a fearless woman who takes a stand against oppression in her community. But justice comes with a price—she must navigate political betrayals, hidden agendas, and deep-rooted traditions.

Featuring Bukunmi Oluwasina, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, and Ibrahim Chatta, this movie is directed by Biodun Stephen and hits cinemas nationwide on March 28.

Nollywood Is Not Playing This March!
