The last may not have been heard about the mysterious death of young musician,
Incensed youths in Abeokuta, Ogun State had stormed Panseke, an area in the state, to protest Ilerioluwa Aloba’s death aka Mohbad, on Tuesday, September 19.
The youths who wore black outfits to signify their mourning had assembled in their numbers at the skating ground arena in Abeokuta bearing placards with inscriptions like #JusticeForMohbad, #WhoOff Light, among other inscriptions.
This is coming after several youths had taken to the streets in Ikorodu, Lagos to protest Mohbad’s demise, as they were seen bearing placards with similar inscriptions that read: “We no go gree, justice for Mohbad.”
Mohbad, had been a former signee of Marlian Records, an enterprise owned by Azeez Faashola, otherwise known as Naira Marley and he had died last Tuesday, September 12 at the age of 27.
Allegedly, some youths were still staging a protat in Lagos around Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) area.
Reports have also surfaced that some youths had assembled at Effurun Road in Warri Delta State on Tuesday, September 19 to demand justice for Mohbad.
Reports making rounds on social media have pointed accusing fingers at Naira Marley for allegedly playing a role in Mohbad’s death.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command had on Monday, September 18, appointed a 13-man special investigation team to investigate the mysterious death of Mohbad.
