Zainab Marwa-Abubakar, the daughter of the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Buba Marwa has announced that she has begun a door-to-door campaign to ensure the victory of All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming presidential elections.
According to Marwa-Abubakar, the recent statistics from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, reveal that the North had more than 21 million female voters, ahead of the South with more than two million voters.
The APC Deputy National Women Leader, Hajia Zainab Ibrahim, had also backed up Marwa Abubakar’s claim, noting that women were an emerging force in the political arena.
Meanwhile, the APC National Working Committee has charged the party women leaders at Monday’s session, revealing that with less than two weeks to the presidential polls, the best time to intensify their efforts in their door-to-door Tinubu campaign in the 19 northern states was now.
