Mavin Records plans to host a Mavin All-Star concert and release a collaborative album for the first time in ten years. This official announcement follows the success of their prior all-star album, Overloading, which was released earlier this year and served as the album’s opening track. Won Da Mo, which was launched earlier this week, is now following. Rema, Crayon, Boy Spyce, Bayanni, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr, and Johnny Drille collaborate on a song for the first time.
This news is made as the label prepares to celebrate its tenth anniversary in style. An all-star Mavin concert on December 16, 2022, will be the culmination of a bigger rollout that includes a joint Mavin record, one of the industry’s watershed events.
Don Jazzy, the founder of the label and a famed producer, is the album’s executive producer. He collaborates with the recently introduced Mavin Producers and Songwriters, all of whom have left their marks on the project. Fans will be able to purchase the album on December 2, 2022.
One of the year’s major Afrobeats events is expected to be the Mavin all-star concert, a carefully crafted spectacle. It would be a component of the yearly LivespotXFestival and include a variety of fan-focused events that would be introduced throughout the ensuing weeks.
