Mikel Arteta Reveals What Arsenal Must Do to Compete With Manchester City

Arsenal has been dethroned from their top position in the Premier League table by title holders, Manchester City. Watching how Man City thrashed his team 4-1 in last week Wednesday’s premier league game, Mikel Arteta has revealed what his team just do to regain their position.

Manchester City was able to regain the top spot at the table after they defeated Fulham 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking about what they must do, Arteta said there are levels to football games, and the ability to up that level when necessary, makes a team formidable.

He further said that they played well at the Emirates, and could have defeated City, but they didn’t because Man City understood the assignment and raised the standard high, the game became very personal to Man City, so this is what Arsenal needs to recognize, they have to learn how to up their game if they want to defeat Man City.

“You cannot copy and paste. At the Emirates, we played the same and we could have beaten them.

“But in the end, we didn’t. Why? Because when they raised that level a little more, boom, they took the game in individual moments. That’s what we have to recognize and not accept. Do not accept it.”

Arsenal is not playing Chelsea on Tuesday night, it’s either they win this game or say bye to winning the premier league this season, as Manchester City still has a ton of games ahead of them, so officially the fierce battle has begun.
