Miralem Pjanic Slams Barcelona After Joining New club

Miralem Pjanic who plays for the United Arab Emirates-based side Sharjah FC has berated his former club, Barcelona for forcing him out of the club due to their money issues. Pjanic joined Barca in 2020 and 2021 was loaned out to Besiktas.

He was moved to Sharjah FC on a free transfer,  despite having two years remaining with the Spanish giants, Barcelona had to let go of some players due to their financial situation as they needed money to register Jules Kounde in La Liga before its deadline then.

Speaking on the issue, he said that, he thought that joining Barca was a good idea, but it turned out to be a bad idea, due to the way he was treated at the club.

He further said that it was a difficult situation, as he never expected to be treated in such a way

“I thought it was the right choice to sign for a club like Barca, but I didn’t know it was like that at the time,” Pjanic said as quoted by the UK Sun.

“It was very complicated. I never expected to experience such a difficult situation. I never expected that.”

If we can recall, Barca had to let go of Aubameyang to Chelsea even when the player didn’t want to move due to their financial problems.
