Portable Omolalomi, notable Nigerian singer has attributed the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad to betrayal.
According to Portable, Mohbad was killed by the enemies of the Marlian record boss, Naira Marley.
While making these claims via a video he posted on the internet, Portable revealed that Mohbad was encouraged and supported by Marlian Music but he (Mohbad) turned his back on them.
Portable also claimed that Mohbad has accused the label of not showing [him] love, which led to his unfortunate demise at the hands of Naira Marley’s rivals.
Portable had also claimed that Mohbad’s association with these rivals had eventually led to his untimely death, claiming that those who killed Mohbad had planned to incriminate Naira Marley.
In Portable’s words:
“Mohbad was murdered because he was a double-crosser. We [the record label] helps these young artists and make them blow but they repay us instead with evil. Upon everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he came out to say thar they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to mingle with the enemies of Naira Marley.”
