Gospel artist Moses Bliss has been the subject of public criticism after claims were made that he is paid seven million naira for a show. This was stated by X user Joshua (@JJExclusiv1e), who admitted that he would rather hire secular artist Olamide instead of paying such a fattak fee for Moses Bliss.

This created a stir on social media where some people noted that Moses Bliss should charge because he is talented and works hard for the money. Some people said that, being a gospel performer, he should never take money or at least should take little, because his music is inspired by God.

They also discussed other gospel artists currently charging closer or even higher fees, costs that include accompanying expenses such as transportation. This led to a discussion on the difference that was between gospel artists and other secular artists.

People’s Reactions:
@tonysnip3r: “There is no difference between gospel artiste and secular artiste. Some gospel artiste even charge more than N7m they will add logistics and the likes to your bill, just to come and minister o.”

@AjeboDanny: “There’s nothing wrong with his charge, he’s singing just like every other singer is doing.”

@Mrklassiq_: “Where did you get this information?

@Wizebaba “7m too small tbh. Shey na only worldly artistes go dey ball?”

If he dont charge how do you expect him to pay his team and the back up singers? You same people will still criticize him if on eof the back up singer come out to complain that they were not paid by Moses Bliss. People remember gospel singers also have a family and dependents.
