Muhammad Bello, Kebbi LG Chairman Passes On

Honorable Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, the Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government Area, has been confirmed dead.

The Kebbi State Government had officially announced his passing after a protracted illness that has yet to be disclosed.

The news of the chairman’s death was conveyed to the public through a statement released by Ahmed Idris, the spokes representative for the state governor, on Thursday.

Muhammad Bello, Kebbi LG Chairman Passes On

Bello, who had been a devoted public servant, breathed his last earlier this morning at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) in Sokoto

The statement read:
“With a heavy heart, I regrettably announce the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, the Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government.

“He had passed on early this morning at UDUTH Sokoto, after an extended illness.”

The statement also added that the government would announce the details of his burial arrangements to the general public in due time.
