Edo lawmaker Honourable Natasha Osawaru has stirred speculation about her marital status after updating her Instagram bio to include the surname ‘Idibia,’ which is associated with music star 2Baba.

A review on her Instagram profile, as confirmed by Federal Character on Sunday, showed that she now identifies as “Honourable Natasha Idibia.” This change has sparked online discussions, with many questioning whether she has secretly married the singer.

2Baba, who recently announced his split from Annie Idibia, has previously expressed his love for Osawaru and even stated his desire to marry her. Their relationship became a topic of discussion after the singer was seen at the Edo State House of Assembly, where Osawaru represents Egor Constituency.

In February, 2Baba proposed to her, and the pair later celebrated at a nightclub in Benin City. Although no official announcement of a wedding has been made, Osawaru’s name change has led many to believe their relationship may have progressed beyond engagement.

The situation has drawn mixed reactions, with some sending their congratulations.
