The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Professor Umar Danbatta, and the Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Mr. Mele Kyari, have been selected among the notable Nigerians to receive the Political Economist Merit Award, on Thursday, April 6 in Lagos State.
Other notable individuals expected to be honored at the event include Governors Udom Emmanuel, Nyesom Wike, Nasir el-Rufai, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dave Umahi, and the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
The event will additionally feature the public presentation of Mr. Ken Ugbechie’s book; Nigeria Heroes and Sheroes: Diary of a Journalist of Courage.
