Sadio Mane, the Senegalese national player who won best African player of the year at the just concluded Confederation of Africa football awards, has dropped a motivational message on his Instagram page, advising fans to believe in themselves and to trust their capabilities.
The Bayern Munich forward, made this motivational post after he won the award, for the second time. Mane won the award for the African Football of the year in Morocco on Thursday night.
“I am so proud. Let me tell you just one thing; never stop believing in yourself,”
He thanked all who made the award possible, especially the Confederation of Africa Football, CAF for the honor.
“Thank you everyone for helping to achieve my dream.”
Our star girl Asisat Oshoala, won the best African Female player of the year, for the fifth time in a roll. We are so happy for her, as she couldn’t participate in the ongoing WAFCON games, due to the fact she sustained an injury and was immediately flown to Spain. Our star girl has made history, as no female player has won that award five times.
