Usman Ibrahim, the recently appointed Controller of Corrections, for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT had quickly assumed his role on Friday, May 31.
Ibrahim had succeeded John Francis, who had been recently redeployed to the Kaduna State Zonal Headquarters.
Upon assuming his new duty, Francis acknowledged the officers of the command for their support and asked them to extend the same gesture to Ibrahim, whom he believed would take the command to newer heights.
Ibrahim had on the other hand, expressed confidence for a mutual working relationship, and towards accomplishing the mandate of the service in FCT.
Since 1990 when he was enlisted into the service, Ibrahim has served in 14 Custodial Centres.
Up until his deployment as the Controller of Corrections for the FCT Command, he was the Controller of Corrections in charge of Operations at the National Headquarters, Abuja.
