Ngole Kante, France Midfielder has been ruled out of 2022 the World Cup Games, as he picked another injury after recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained in Chelsea’s match against Tottenham in August.
Fans were excited after he returned to training with his teammates, but it seems he sustained another injury during training, As Graham Potter Chelsea’s manager revealed that he sustained another serious injury.
According to him, Kante will have to see a consultant, but he admitted that it’s a setback as it seems pretty serious.
He further said that, because he is just recovering from his hamstring injury, this is quite disturbing considering his current state. They will have to wait for the diagnosis, to see the extent of the injury and try to nurse him back to wellness.
He’s due to see a consultant at the weekend,” Potter said on Friday. “It’s a setback, it’s not good news, but I can’t give you anything more at this stage.
“Historically there are things that have happened which is a concern, so we need to get to the bottom of that.
“It’s a setback at this stage of this rehab which is worrying, but all we can do is get the right diagnosis, get the right consultation, and try and help him get back to full fitness and enjoying his football.”
This is sad for the France national team, considering how instrumental Kante was to their success in the 2018 world cup games. The more painful thing is that he hasn’t featured for Chelsea in any premier league games this season.
