Nigerian Labour Union Sounds Battle Cry for ‘March to Freedom

It appears that the Federal Government’s enchantment has lost its charm on the Nigerian Labour Union. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has issued a call to arms, urging all citizens to join its “march to freedom” and brace for an indefinite strike starting on Tuesday.

In his Independence Day statement, NLC President Joe Ajaero didn’t mince words. He basically said, “When we stand together, we’ll conquer anything!” They want Nigeria to sparkle like a beacon of hope once more. Nice sentiment, right?

Ajaero boldly proclaimed, “It’s time for Nigeria to rise and shine once more as a beacon of hope and prosperity for all its citizens.”

He rallied the masses, stating, “Remember, when we stand as one, refusing to be divided, we will triumph!” The call went out to all Nigerians to mark Independence Day with renewed purpose.

“Let us acknowledge our past, confront our present challenges, and collectively work towards a brighter future for Nigeria,” he urged.

Despite President Tinubu’s pleas for patience, it seems the Labour Union has had enough of “big nonsense.” Workers are struggling to make ends meet while the government seems to be feasting. Have you checked food prices lately? They’ve skyrocketed, leaving workers hungry. The President sits in comfort, asking Nigerians to be patient, but how much more patience can they muster? Is it until they’re on the brink of starvation?

The march to reclaim their rights and dignity begins on the 3rd!
