The Nigerian police have arrested a 37-year-old female pastor, Ruth Kenneth for reportedly giving information about her congregants to kidnappers in Adamawa state.
Kenneth is a self-acclaimed prayer warrior who consults for people with diseases and spiritual conditions is also a mum of seven children.
She was caught and arrested after police operatives had tracked her conversations with kidnappers who had threatened to abduct one of her congregants if the man failed to pay a N10 million ransom.
“When my children and son-in-law took me to her prayer house for healing, she told me that she saw in a vision during prayers that my name was given to kidnappers, and that to avert being kidnapped I should buy a two-year-old ram without bargaining (over) its price.” The man who could have been abducted had told the press, of the condition of anonymity.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the state police command, SP Suleiman Nguroje has confirmed the arrest while revealing that operatives of the State Command had arrested her and that investigation was also ongoing.
