With five days left to the maiden edition of the Abuja International Marathon, potential runners have expressed joy and excitement in participating in the first-ever race in the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the organizers, thousands of marathon enthusiasts from within and outside Abuja have picked up their running kits in anticipation of this weekend’s race.
About 30,000 runners, including 50 foreign superb runners and 120 local runners, are expected to take part in the marathon, and as of the time of writing this report, registration is still ongoing for interested runners to participate in the race until April 28,
Meanwhile, the marathon race will commence at the City Gate and finish at Eagles Square.
