Highlife sensation, Chinedu Izuchukwu Okoli, aka Flavour, is making rounds on the internet after a mega achievement. According to reports, the superstar was paid over ₦1 billion to have his hit song, Game Changer, appear on 50 Cent’s popular television show, Power Book II: Ghost.
This was well depicted in the viral scene from Season 4, Episode 9 of the series, where Flavor’s hook song served as background music for the Igbo wedding scene. Its inclusion made Episode 9 the most watched of the season.
50 Cent is known to be a great lover of the Nigerian culture, so he did a whole lot in this episode by featuring traditional Nigerian costumes with pidgin dialogue to make it look as realistic as possible. The collaboration would not only serve to show Flavour’s influence around the world, it also serves to put Nigerian culture into the full glare of the world.
