Since the Old Naira/New naira note saga had begun, Nigerians have been lamenting how they’ve been experiencing a series of failed online transactions owing to bad mobile networks.
This is coming as many Nigerians are currently unable to obtain the new N200, N500, and N1,000 banknotes due to cash scarcity.
This has led to severe hardship for a lot of Nigerians and businesses alike and in some states, severe protests.
Nigerians had complained that mobile bank transactions for payments frequently do not deliver to the creditor and the affected banks had yet to revert the monies to the debitors.
A Twitter user, Tiamiyu Habeebulahi, while sharing his plight tweeted:
@OPayNigeria I made a transfer from my Opay account to First Bank of Nigeria and the receiver said he did not receive any alert and the money was not credited to his account. This has caused a lot of issues.”
This is a tweet among several Nigerians who have tweeted since the naira crisis began.
