Nollywood Actress Shan George Recovers Stolen Funds, Raises Awareness on Online Fraud

Popular Nigerian actress Shan George recently experienced a harrowing ordeal after N3.6 million was allegedly stolen from her Zenith Bank account on May 3rd. Taking to her Instagram platform, she expressed her distress and called for help in retrieving her funds.

Thankfully, a positive update emerged on May 8th. Through an Instagram live video, Ms. George announced the successful recovery of the stolen money. She expressed her gratitude to Zenith Bank for their prompt action, as well as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerians who offered support, and all those who assisted her financially during this challenging time.

The actress further promised to share more details in the future, specifically regarding the nature of the fraudulent activity and the steps taken to recover the funds.
