American rapper Kiari Cephus, professionally known as Offset, has addressed the persistent rumors that he had an affair with fellow rapper Saweetie.
In a podcast interview with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset called the allegations entirely false and unnecessary.
“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he said, adding that the cheating rumors were “strange and baseless.”
The rapper also opened up about his breakup with Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, admitting that his own mistakes contributed to the collapse of their marriage.
“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset confessed, acknowledging that infidelity and poor decision-making affected their relationship.
Despite the separation, he expressed continued respect for Cardi B, referring to her as “bro,” and clarified that their divorce is not yet finalized.
Offset further reflected on the personal challenges he has faced, including coping with the death of his cousin and bandmate, Takeoff, who was tragically killed in 2022.
Determined to move forward, he said he is focusing on personal growth and healing.
“I’m focused on becoming a better man now,” he stated, noting that therapy and faith have helped him overcome addiction and find inner peace.
