The Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State command, has remarked that it has approached a law court to get a warrant to arrest controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable after he had purportedly rejected five police invitations.
The state police command on Tuesday, March 28 had said: “Portable is not bigger than the law. We are therefore going to use minimum force to arrest him.”
This was after Portable had released a video going viral video on social media, where he was resisting arrest by police officers that stormed his restaurant in Ogun State, challenging them to state the reason for his arrest.
Portable could be visibly seen in the video accusing the police of illegal arrest.
But one of the officers had said that they had come to arrest the singer because of a petition that was filed against him.
