The Ohanaeze Ndigbo group has highlighted its 13 demands from President Bola Tinubu as he resumes office.
Ohanaeze’s Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, had in one of the requests, remarked that President Tinubu should allow Igbos benefit from his economic policies.
One of the requests included ensuring that the railway line from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri was in peak condition.
“The President should look at the seaports and ensure there are no economic leakages.”
“He should look into the things that have rotten that all political prisoners including Nnamdi Kanu are set free from jail.”
Isiguzoro also made a plea for the new Nigerian president to ensure that all his appointments mirrored the federal character.
He finished his requests with assuring Tinubu that Ndigbo would stand beside his administration.
