Nigerian music star Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has shared that a large sum of money could temporarily ease his battle with depression.
Taking to his X account on Tuesday, the ‘Soso’ hitmaker posted, “10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month.”
The singer, who has been vocal about his struggles with chronic depression, has previously revealed how the condition nearly cost him his life. In past interviews and posts, Omah Lay described moments of intense emotional turmoil and personal battles.
He also disclosed in a 2022 post that his mental health deteriorated further following a sexual relationship with his therapist, writing on July 18 of that year that the experience made things worse.
Omah Lay is currently preparing to drop his second studio album, Clarity of Mind, which he hinted will chronicle his healing journey and personal growth since confronting his mental health challenges.
His debut album, Boy Alone, released on July 15, 2022, also touched deeply on his emotional struggles, with lyrics reflecting his pain and vulnerability.
