Nollywood actress and director, Omoni Oboli has revealed that her first series titled Last Year Single will be released on Netflix on September 6th, 2024. The romantic drama was produced in 2020, but due to the effects of COVID 19, the production underwent some set back.
The series, written by Joy Bewaji and produced by Tomi Adeoye, follows three single women in their 30s as they navigate the challenges of finding partners while managing their finances. Some of the cast members are Bimbo Ademoye, Toni Tones and Mawuli Gavor among others.
Oboli began her acting career in Bitter Encounter (1996) and has been involved in the making of films such as Moms At War and Wives on Strike.
