Popular Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has fled the city of Los Angeles due to the raging wildfires across California. The wildfires, coupled with strong, gusty winds and dryness, have displaced more than 137,000 people, killing many.
Los Angeles is the world’s entertainment capital, and wildfires have driven celebrities out of their homes, including Paris Hilton, Ben Affleck, and Leighton Meester, since the blazes could not be controlled. Nigerian reality TV star Morey Faith was among the ones affected and took to Instagram to post a video of the chaos.
Omotola led the announcement of her safe arrival in Abuja via her Instagram account, saying she had to leave her LA home in 20 minutes. She begged her fans to check on their loved ones in the affected areas, emphasizing how grave it has gotten.
The California wildfire is causing more damages as the residents and celebrities scramble for safety in this sad event.
