Since the award-winning Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel dropped the groovy song Buga (Lo lo lo) featuring another famous Nigerian singer/dancer, Tekno, on 4th May 2022 and since then the music has been the favorite of fans; racking up massive listening and streams from around the globe, massive ratings and undoubtedly the biggest song in Nigeria.
The music video has now recorded more than 11 million views on YouTube, in just a week after its official drop. Social media users have been trending and boosting the song with creative dance steps to the trending Buga Dance Challenge.
Instagrammers, Facebookers, and TikTokers have joined in on the challenge with the hashtag: #buga accumulating 1.9 million posts on Instagram and over 6 million interactions on Facebook. Buga is the present hit song everybody is vibing to; From young, old, men and women, to people on the streets, at parties, and all over the Internet.
The video turned out to be artistic, colorful, entertaining, impactful, and filled with a lot of significant meanings. Kizz Daniel and Tekno emphasized how we all should celebrate ourselves for the hard work, resilience, and dedication that yields success for us. Kizz Daniel had since explained the meaning of the song as he confessed that: “As long as people work hard to make legitimate money, they should be proud to flaunt their wealth.”
