Nigerian singer, Tems has been making the country proud, just a month after Winning a Grammy award she attended the Oscars at Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

She wore a white dress with a shoulder piece wrapped around her head, making it difficult for other people who say behind her to see the stage.

She received several backlashes from netizens as she was called insensitive for wearing such a dress knowing that it’ll obstruct other people’s view. Some blamed her designer for designing such a dress for her.

Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie believes that Tems stole the show this year with her dress, he further congratulated her even though she lost her nomination

Edochie tweeted on Monday, “Before you criticize #temsbaby for her Oscar dress, attend the Oscars first. Just like Will Smith’s slap did last year, Tems stole the show this year.

“Congratulations girl. We’re proud of you. Nigeria is proud of you.”
