Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent has said that the super eagles’ striker, has no intention of leaving Serie A side, Napoli.

Osimhen who transferred from Lille to Napoli in 2020 has proven his worth, as he is one of the best Strikers in the club, he finished his first two seasons in the club as Napoli’s top goal scorer.

Several Rumours circulated that Napoli is planning on selling the player to Manchester United for a price tag of €128m.

According to Calenda, it’s quite obvious that several clubs are interested in signing the player and he decided to speak on this before false reports will escalate.

He further revealed that Osimhen has no desire of leaving Napoli, as he desires to play in the champions league with Napoli. Considering the amazing time he has had in the club, Osimhen has no intention of leaving the club.

“We haven’t found out now that Osimhen is the subject of interest from so many teams, but things are done in three: who sells, who buys, and the player,” Calenda told Radio Kiss, Kiss Napoli.

“I was immediately clear this summer because I knew there would be a lot of news coming out from those who had other interests perhaps. But I, the boy, and Napoli had very clear ideas.”

“Whoever talked about a departure made a mistake. It was Victor’s will to stay at Napoli and play the Champions League that he won entry to last year together with his teammates,” he added.

“Victor wanted exactly that, to have a great year with Napoli, between the league and the Champions League. He has a long contract with Azzurri. The market is dynamic, but our will is to continue at Napoli and continue to do well.”

Osimhen has registered four goals and one assist in eight league appearances for Napoli this season.
