Robbery Ruggiero, Napoli’s Doctor has said that it’s important Osimhen puts on his protective mask always on the field, as it gives him a Sense of safety. If we can recall, last year Osimhen sustained a very serious injury on his head after bashing his head with that of Inter Milan Defender Milian Skriniar In a football match and had to quickly undergo surgery that made him stay off football for three months.

According to Ruggiero, Osimhen has recovered but he still has to wear the mask to eliminate any phobia he has concerning his healed injury, and can take it off when he feels very safe, nevertheless, he will carry out some checks on the head.

“Osimhen is perfectly healed, he’s still wearing the protective mask because it gives him a sense of security, but he’s healed,” Ruggiero told Radio Marte via Tutto Napoli.

“He has his balance and wants to wear it. Hopefully, this mask will be enough until he feels safe and takes it off.

“Not before then, I still have to do a check, but as soon as he returns, we will have intense work to do.”

Osimhen has proved that he is a world-class player, as he scored 14 goals and two assists in 27 league appearances for Napoli last season.
