Some unidentified Herdsmen invaded Sobe community, in Owan West Local Government in Edo, killed a driver, and Kidnapped some members of the community.
According to a witness, the Herdsman invaded the community and went straight to the driver’s house, as if there was a feud between them, shot the driver named Ome Osesa, and shot everyone within that Vicinity, they then proceeded to St Thomas Moore primary school, where other people were kidnapped.
Members of the community have cried to the Governor to ensure that there’s adequate security in the community, as the police station in the community is not effective, to ensure that love and property are preserved.
On contacting the Edo state Police Spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, said that they are not aware of such an attack.
