Dr . Mike Ogirima, former President of the Nigeria Medical Association, was quoted in Daily Trust as saying that the tire broke shortly after takeoff at Yola Airport.
However, the plane crashed-landed in Abuja, with emergency personnel already on the ground putting out the fire before the passengers disembarked on the runway.
