Paris Fashion Week might have been winding down, but the excitement from the past few weeks has left a lasting impression on fashion lovers who followed the glamorous shows in the city.

COPERNI
Coperni pulled out all the stops this year by showcasing its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Disneyland Paris, with the grand Sleeping Beauty Castle serving as its backdrop and turning the whole affair into a magical blend of fashion and fantasy.
This collection was titled “Coperni Princess” and had drawn its inspiration from Disney characters and their stories.
The Highlights:
Before I dive into my best highlights from this collection, it is noteworthy to mention the “You had to be there” pop culture moment of Kylie Jenner closing the show in a dramatic princess ball gown. Her runway walk was all everyone would talk about on social media.
– Coperni x Disney Collaboration:
How fitting that this collection featured vintage Disney T-shirts, whimsical princess gowns, shoes and villain-inspired outfits.
– The Unique Accessories
• The ‘Ariel Swipe Bag’ stood out to me due to its innovative design of incorporating “gravity-free” technology in its creation. Just in case its name didn’t give it away, this bag was inspired by Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’.
• Another bag I loved was the ‘Mini Swipe Bag’ and the fact that it came in various designs —such as crystal embroidery and metallic finishes— further added to its appeal.
• Footwear-wise, bright coloured sands and glass slipper-inspired heels (which Kylie Jenner wore on the runway) gave a whimsical, but elegant air to the designs.
• For jewelry, simple necklaces and large, bold earrings decorated with Disney motifs were mainly featured.
• Tiara-inspired headbands and custom belts were also featured on the runway.
In summary, the Coperni SS25 collection was a mix of playful and classic pieces, ranging from princess and villain inspired outfits, to ruffled jackets and bloomers.
MIU MIU
Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, held at the Palais d’Iéna in Paris, captivated the audience with its exploration of early childhood, truth, simplicity and spontaneity.
This Miu Miu show featured an intervention by genius artist Goshka Macuga, who created “The Truthless Times” a physical newspaper and a narrative short film exploring truth and misinformation.
The Highlights:
Hollywood celebrities like Little Simz, Hilary Swank, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, and Amelia Gray walked the Miu Miu runway, with Willem Dafoe spectacularly closing the show.
Other celebrities who sat on the first row included sensational cook, Nara Smith, breakout pop star and influencer, Addison Rae, Camilla Cabello and Olivia Dean.
– Design Elements:
The collection was a mix of activewear, tailored pieces, and juvenile items like bloomers, pinafores, and onesies. Pleated skirts, diner-waitress dresses, and cool windbreakers were also featured.
– Innovative Styling:
I loved how the designers played with the idea of “wearing things in the wrong way,” with sweaters wrapped into tops and shirts twisted to create a new outfit altogether.
– Set Design:
Perhaps, this was the most unique runway from the fashion week in Paris. The runway was designed to look like printing presses, further emphasizing the theme of truth and information.
