The number one problem in Nigeria has always been insecurity, passengers of an 18 Sitter Bus were Kidnapped in Kogi, at the Ayingba, Itobe road, Ofu L G.A Kogi State.

According to some witnesses, the incident happened on Monday, at the Ochadamu highway, a place which is well known as the hideout of Kidnappers, the bus which was headed to Abuja, was stopped by the Kidnappers, and all the passengers were evacuated into the bush.

Due to the fact, there’s no army checkpoint in the area, the locals said that the criminal activities in Ochadamu increased.

Navy Commander Jerry Omodara, the state security adviser to the Governor of Kogi State confirmed the incident, stating that the state is trying all it can to rescue the Victims.

According to him, they are prepared to fight these hoodlums until they are apprehended, all security agents in the state are currently working on the issue

“We have fought them, we will fight them, and we will continue to fight them until they are neutralized in that axis of the state. Security agents have been alerted and they will do the needful”, he said.

We’ve had several ugly occurrences of insecurity in Nigeria, Nigerians still haven’t recovered from the June 5, Owo attack, it’s sad that we live in a country that devours its citizens
