The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, blew the whistle for a 100-day fasting and prayer program to avoid a possible World War III. He gave this warning during the first Holy Ghost Service this year, citing increasing global tensions capable of spiraling into chaos. “If there is a world war, it will affect you wherever you are,” he declared, as he called for prayers for peace and against the escalation of conflicts.
Starting from January 11 through to April 21, 2025, the fast would zero in on the problems of Nigeria, including corruption and sabotage, with some prayers described as “violent” against enemies of progress. Members will also pray to prevent disasters from happening and to stop old wars from starting again.
He prophesied breakthroughs and celebrations for many in 2025 amidst dire warnings. This is a bold attempt to confront the crises mounting in the world through prayer and faith.
