Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has shared his admiration for the progress his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, has made in her career while carrying the Doyle name.
The actor, speaking on his relationship with Ireti, reflected on her professional journey following their divorce, which was announced by the actress in January 2023 for undisclosed reasons.
In a recent interview on Wake Up Nigeria, Patrick emphasized that he prefers to remain silent rather than make any negative comments about his former spouse.
When asked about Ireti’s accomplishments in the entertainment industry, he said:
“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name.
“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry.”
Patrick’s remarks highlight a cordial perspective on co-parenting and mutual respect despite the end of their marriage.
