Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, famously known as the second half of P-Square, has voiced his frustration with the younger generation, criticizing their tendency to live under constant comparison and societal pressure.
Sharing his thoughts on Instagram Stories, Okoye described today’s youth as “mad people,” pointing out how much of their lives revolve around comparison, class, level, and maturity.
“Aswear dis generation na madt people full am!! Haba!! Everything na comparison, class, level, maturity, bla bla bla… And na mumu go still listen to this pøor mentality psychøs, then come go put themselves under pressure. Like wtf!!!” he wrote.
Okoye’s message reflects his concern about how societal expectations and the influence of others’ opinions are causing unnecessary stress for young people today.
