The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the winner of all chairmanship and councillorship positions in the recently concluded local government elections. This announcement was made via Facebook Live on Saturday evening by OSSIEC Chairman, Hashim Abioye.
Breakdown of Results
The PDP secured a complete sweep, winning all 332 councillorship seats across the state’s 332 wards. Additionally, PDP candidates won all 30 chairmanship positions in the state’s local government areas.
