The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi had yesterday described that allegation of treason leveled against him and his vice-presidential candidate, Yussuf Datti Baba-Ahmed by the Nigerian federal government as malicious and an apparent campaign of calumny against them both.
This was after Lai Mohammed had in Washington DC yesterday, cautioned the former governor of Anambra state to refrain from pushing his people to violence over the results of the presidential polls, insisting that neither he nor the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, had a special pathway to the presidency of the country.
