Caleb Mutfwang, the Plateau State Governor, has relaxed the 24-hour curfew it previously declared on Mangu Local Government Area of the state, after the recent 2-day attack witnessed in the community.
Mr Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor revealed this news update through a statement he issued on Friday, January 26 in Jos.
The statement revealed that the curfew would now be observed between 8am and 4pm daily, until further developments could be communicated.
The governor, in the statement highlighted that the review was due to an improvement in the security situation in the area. Governor Mutfwang also said that there have been calculated engagements with religious and community leaders over the security crisis in the state.
